About

The engineer and the marketer, in one person.

I have been getting things found online since I was twelve and writing production software for nine years. I have grown a business I had a personal stake in, ranked sites with no ad budget, and shipped apps used by thousands of people a day.

I have been getting things found online since I was twelve: YouTube tutorials, jailbreaking iPhones for $20 a pop off Kijiji, and a feature in the Hamilton Spectator before I could drive. I learned how to reach people before I learned to code, and shipped my first App Store app at seventeen.

My first engineering job was at Trackem, a Brantford GPS company, from a 2017 co-op to a contract that ran until 2022: the fleet apps, WhereSafe’s website and alerts, and an AWS rebuild that cut the server bill from about $5,140 to $265 a month. In 2019 I founded Limelight Music, a location-based music discovery app that reached 20,000+ users in four months and is on its fifth major version. Around the same time I co-founded DailyRapFacts and rebuilt it from a suspended account to more than a million followers, selling placements to BROCKHAMPTON, a Dreamville and Interscope rep, Tory Lanez’s camp and Montgomery Digital.

In 2022 my dad bought a tire shop in Hamilton with zero foot traffic. I set up its IT and Google Business Profile, ran the Google Ads, wrote its management software and worked the floor; it sold for $1.45M, property included, in a deal agreed in 2024 and closed in 2025. Since 2023 I have been a senior engineer on a fleet platform that tracks 50,000 vehicles, and I co-founded RHYMEBOOK, whose search traffic went from 88 to over 100,000 daily impressions in 57 days with no ad spend.

Bizlal Media Inc. is all of that, offered to businesses that would rather run their business than manage a website, an agency and an ad account. I studied Computer Science and Business at Wilfrid Laurier University and the University of Waterloo.

How I got here

Every number below is one I can show you the screenshot for.

  1. Age 12

    Started on the internet early

YouTube tutorials, jailbreaking iPhones for $20 a pop off Kijiji, and a feature in the Hamilton Spectator before I could drive. I learned how to get found online before I learned to code.

  2. 2013–14

NappyApps: first App Store business at 16

Paid the Apple developer fee in October 2013, shipped my first games, and took my first paid client for a custom one the next year.

  3. 2016

    InsomniApps and Space Monkey

Co-founded a three-person iOS studio at Laurier and shipped Space Monkey to the App Store, plus a DailyRapFacts iOS app.

  4. 2017

    First engineering job at Trackem

A co-op at a Brantford GPS company that became full-time and then a contract until 2022: the fleet apps, the data collector, WhereSafe’s website and iOS alerts, and a 2020 AWS rebuild that cut the server bill from about $5,140 to $265 a month. Built a school’s registration site for 28,000 records that first summer.

  5. 2018

    Rebuilt DailyRapFacts from zero

Revived the suspended brand and built @rapaccess from nothing, relaunched the website with hired writers, and started the placement business that BROCKHAMPTON, a Dreamville and Interscope rep, Tory Lanez’s camp and Montgomery Digital bought from. Followers went from about 520K to 1.1M.

  6. 2019

    Founded Limelight Music

A location-based music discovery app, prototyped in May 2019, live on the App Store July 24 and launched July 26 with RapTV’s founder as marketing partner: one @rap post took it past 10,000 users in a day, 20,000 by September 10, #10 in Music on the App Store by August 9, five major versions since, and 5.2 in TestFlight today.

  7. 2020–21

    My own contracting company

Set up BK DevOps Inc. to take Trackem on as a client, and co-funded an algorithmic-trading team with Curiato’s CEO.

  8. 2022

The tire shop, and a founding-engineer role

My dad bought Hamilton Tire & Auto with zero foot traffic in August; I set up its IT, Google profile, ads and software. That autumn I was the first engineer at LockDocs, a Toronto startup.

  9. 2023

Senior engineer on software for 50,000 vehicles

At Streamline Transportation Technologies I build the fleet platform that tracks 50,000+ connected vehicles with 99.9% uptime. Day to day, I ship production software that businesses depend on. Co-founded RHYMEBOOK that November.

  10. 2025

The tire shop sold for $1.45M

The sale, agreed in May 2024 at $1.45M including the property, closed in April 2025, three weeks after my dad’s last day on March 25: from ghost town to a sale in under three years.

  11. 2026

138,924 Google clicks with zero ad spend, and a law firm in two weeks

RHYMEBOOK’s search traffic went from 88 impressions a day to over 100,000 in 57 days; by mid-May, Search Console’s 16-month view showed 138,924 clicks and 19.2 million impressions. In March I rebuilt Lamba Law’s whole web presence in 14 days: 29 city pages, an AI intake and a lead pipeline.

  12. Now

    Bizlal Media Inc.

Everything above, offered to businesses that would rather run their business than manage a website, an agency and an ad account. Versa LLP, Sora Accounting & Tax and Jahan Homes are next.

How I work

I partner with businesses that are ready to grow.

I combine growth strategy, software, automation and acquisition to turn good businesses into scalable ones. First I understand how your business works. Then I build the systems that make it grow.

“Learn to sell. Learn to build. If you can do both, you will be unstoppable.”

Naval Ravikant · How to Get Rich (without getting lucky), 2018
  1. 01Direct access

You work with me. Not an account manager.

I learn your business, build the systems, run the campaigns and stay involved when something needs to change. No re-explaining your company to someone new.

  2. 02Ownership

    Your business stays yours.

Your domain, customer data, Google profile and ad accounts stay in your name. My systems power the work without holding your business hostage.

  3. 03Results

Everything has to move the number.

We find what is limiting growth, fix it, measure the result and move to the next constraint. Nothing gets sold because it sounds impressive.
